At the present time we have not been granted access to
the
Southwest Region portion of www.benchrest.com. As such, the 2006
Southwest
region Shooter of the Year will be hosted at this location until such
time that
we can post at www.benchrest.com. This year’s format will include
scores from 4
days of shooting from each participating club. We will utilize the same
scoring
system that is used with the U.S. World Team selection. One point for
showing up and 1 point for every shooter that you beat. If the total
number of
shooters participating in an event is 29 shooters then the winner will
receive
29 points, 2nd place=28 points, 3rd place=27 and so on, and the last
place
shooter will receive 1 point. An individual's 7 best scores shall be
used to
calculate that shooter's overall score and standing. ******* denotes
low score(s) dropped that are not the shooter's best 7 scores.
